My Approach

I provide culturally sensitive and LGBTQ+ Affirmative therapy to teens and adults in our community. My approach is holistic, which means that I take a person's mind, physical being, social self, spirituality and emotional health into consideration during treatment. I believe that working from this perspective allows me to create a safe, inclusive and non-judgmental space for you to process and explore all of who you are.

My credentials include a Bachelors in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento, a Masters in Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology and Domestic Violence Advocacy Training. I have completed additional trainings and workshops in Brainspotting, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts, Hakomi, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, the Therapeutic Triangle, TF-CBT and the Comprehensive Resource Model.
